Bruce Jenner's Diane Sawyer interview set for April 24

Bruce Jenner is finally ready to break his silence.

The 65-year-old former Olympian's two-hour special with Diane Sawyer titled "Bruce Jenner — The Interview" will air on April 24 at 9 pm, ABC revealed Monday.

While the network did not release any further details on the sit-down, it is set to surround his decision to transition from male to female over the last year.

Jenner will discuss when he first “identified as a woman,” TMZ reported, adding ex-wife Kris Jenner and her famous daughters will allegedly be out of the country in Armenia when the interview airs.

The reality star was also slated to star in his own docu-series focusing on his gender transformation, but the much-talked about show is reportedly on hold.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan has stayed unusually mum on the dad-of-six's personal journey, but step-daughter Kim Kardashian did express the family’s support for him back in January.

"I will say that I think Bruce should tell his story his way ... I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he'll share whenever the time is right," she told “Entertainment Tonight.”

“I think Bruce is very happy, the happiest I've ever seen him,” Kardashian continued.

“He's our dad so we support him no matter what, and I think when the time is right, he'll talk about whatever he wants to talk about. I guess I'll kind of let everyone be curious and I feel like that's his journey to talk about."
