Brownies...
How do you make them homemade without them coming out so cakey? I made a batch using the Hershey's cocoa powder recipe and they were dry and cakey. I tried the same recipe and added a 1/4 cup of oil to moisten it up and STILL they are dry and cakey. I want thick and FUDGY brownies. Sadly, this is best achieved w/boxed brownies (Ghirardelli ) but I would like to recreate them homemade.
Any tips or recipes???

Re: Brownies...
I just made these last weekend and they came out pretty good and moist. At first I thought they were just okay - but then, DH and I finished off the entire tray ourselves, so I would say they are better than okay, and go on the top of my brownie list.
Brownies
Also, I have made the ghiradelli brownies from scratch, and those come out pretty good and moist too...I'll see if I can find that recipe somewhere for you...
I think this might be the one I have used...
