Brown discharge

I'm about five weeks pregnant and yesterday (around 4pm) I had some brown discharge upon wiping. It wasn't on my underwear and appeared only on one wipe. I didn't have it again for the rest of the day. Today (2pm) I had brown discharge, and, again, it wasn't on my underwear and only when I wiped. So, I'm freaking out. Should I be worried?

im 5 weeks too and this happened to me thurs, fri, and yesterday morning. so i called the dr and they said it was normal at the 5 week mark and unless its accompanied with painful cramping and red blood then you're fine. believe me, i started freaking too! i went in and they did bloodwork to ease my mind and also because i hadnt had any bloodwork done yet up to that point. but they said i should be okay.

Nah, brown is old...and it is totally normal....you feel fine right??

I had a dot of brown the other day on my pantiliner and a discolored yellow when I wiped...but that was 1x and everyone says it is normal and as long as u feel fine....

If you are worried then you could call the doctor...I am now 6 weeks and 2 days....LOL...every day I count how far I am ...lol...

Yeah, other than the same slight cramping I've been feeling since getting my BFP, I feel fine.

Same w/ me!! The slight cramping the gyno says is your uterus expanding.....:)

I go Thur nite for my sono and I guess blood work....nervous and excited, just want everything to be good and see heartbeat!!! ya know!

oh you're lucky! i have to wait until im at least 8 weeks for them to see me. so i have to wait 3 more weeks. i cant take the anticipation!

Thanks..yeah I know, it is so hard to wait ..right??? You just want to know already for sure that everything is ok, just a reassurance!!

yea its definitely tough. just waiting until tomorrow for my bloodwork results is driving me nuts!

What kind of blood work did you have? I didn't have any yet, guess they will do that Thur night..

I had brown discharge at around 8 - 10 weeks, and I am now almost 37 weeks PG!
