Brookhaven Town People
How did they do plowing by you? I am very impressed with how often the plows came and what a good job they did. I am usually cursing them under my breath. Guess the OT pay was good motivation for them

Hahhahaa we said the same thing. My parents street is plowed and they NEVER plow their block ever. We are a down the road and they came like 8 times yesterday. I am impressed as well. And 83- clean. I have NEVER seen that before ever. I am SHOCKED!!! Guess this means they plan to increase my taxes!!! Ahahahahha

That's usually us, guess they decided to turn the map upside down this time or something. They were actually making sparks with their plow down our cross street. I was like guess they need to make more $$$ but apparently they need to expand their radius.

The side roads are awful over here. Luckily my road is pretty good but I can't get anywhere because the rest are terrible. On some streets they only plowed one way so if you turn on the road you have no where to go except directly into traffic!

I'm in eastern brookhaven, right on the border of Riverhead town. The last several major storms they didn't even plow my section of our street. We only have 6 houses on our street and there's no reason to use it unless you live on it so it's not generally considered important I guess. My DH and my neighbors usually end up clearing it with their snow blowers.
This year was different, the independent contractor plows for the town started early and stayed on it, I even heard them again this morning. My street looks amazing. The best I've seen in 12 winters.
