Brookhaven codes for fences
Does anybody know if there are any restrictions? I'm trying to search the town website, but I'm finding it very difficult to navigate. I'd like to put up at least an 8-foot fence in my backyard (I have a major roadway behind me).

6 feet is the max. If you go on the Brookhaven website you can search the town code. (I tried to copy the link having trouble on my iPad)

Be very very careful. It is a 6 foot max. The Town of Brookhaven are ball busters on everything! We just got a CO on an addition and they were the biggest pain to deal with. They flagged us on a 20 year old hot tub.

Is there the possibility of asking for a hearing to get a variance to exceed the 6 feet?
