bronchitis - anyone?
i think imight have bronchitis my cough hasnt gotten better only worse, its been almost 2 weeks and the home remedies plus robitusem arent helping so im going to my doc tomrrow .
just wondering how bad could it be?

I had bronchitis about 2 months ago
It lasted for a while
ALl they gave me was a Z pack and told me I could take normal Robitussin. Thats it. It just took longer than normal to get rid of it since I couldnt take stronger meds

I thought I had it last week because after a week with an awful awful cold, my chest was hurting and I was still coughing. I went to my primary care doc and she checked me out - all clear. She said I might have the chest pains from all the coughing, especially with being pregnant and everything shifting and putting pressure on the ribs etc.
I would definitely get checked out. If it is bronchitis, there are pregnancy safe antibiotics you can take. Feel better! I only now am feeling better, 2 weeks after my cold started! Worst cold I've had ever!

omg thats how i feel!!! like this is the worst! DH is sick too but already kicked it by taking stronger things.
And when I have my coughing fits at 530am, my DD starts kicking me like crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got it twice with my 2nd pregnancy -- docs gave me a Z-pack and suggested Robitussin (regular kind) to help control the cough.
They also allowed me to take Benadryl to help me sleep so that I could at least rest while I was fighting the infection.
