I have tickets for a Wednesday matinee for my DD's 10th birthday, I'm hoping things will be somewhat clear by then.... any insight?

From what I heard they rarely shut down, so by Wednesday night it should be business as usual. Snow is supposed to stop early Wed morning.

What show?
Broadway very rarely closes. I've been working in the industry for a long time. Some shows honor exchanges in inclement weather...let me know which one and I can offer you some insight.

Thanks! Wicked I don't mind trekking in, I'll just leave extra time for LIRR etc.

Argh...that's not one that I'm familiar with in terms of their ticketing policy. But it's a long running show so they may honor exchanges or past-dating...it's worth it to ask Ticketmaster!

Re: Broadway Shows and Snow Storms
Wednesday shouldn't be an issue. If you do miss it, they usually allow you to exchange the tix for a later performance, but it would be a day-of exchange and you would not be guaranteed equivalent seats. It's called a "Past-Dated" exchange.
My parents once got into a car accident on the way in to see a show. They had to just call up the day they wanted to exchange the tix for and they were issued replacements.
