Britax vent and questions

I already have a britax b agile single and britax b agile double with all the accessories. I absolutely love the strollers. Chose them over the city mini for minor reasons. I bought them both after my youngest was out of the infant seat (we have a gracco snugride- 2 years old with 2 extra bases) once I stopped using the snap n go. I am having another baby and will still need a double stroller. I also have an uppa baby (w/gracco adaptor).

So I found out that the britax strollers will NOT take the gracco carseats. They don't make any adapter for any seats other than Britax. I don't think Uppa makes an adapter for Britax either and I read that none of the snap n gos fit the Britax B safe carseat well. I understand that a Britax seat would snap right into the britax stroller but it seems like that's it. I loved using the snap n go for the first few months. The basket is way easier to access than in the britax single (similar to city mini single)

So we are stuck and very annoyed!! WWYD?? Buy a Britax carseat w/extra base and use them with the Britax single and double and have no snap n go and not be able to use an infant seat w/the uppa either or try to sell the Britax double and get a double city minis and be able to use the carseat in all strollers (except the britax single, which i wouldn't need for the carseat)? Just didn't want to spend all this money on new strollers and I'm so annoyed. With the City Mini I would still then need to buy all the accessories and adapters because it comes with nothing. Ughhh sorry for my rant. Any suggestions??!!

ETA: Britax single takes gracco carseat w/an adapter but the double won't...

That works with the Britax b ready but we have the B agile (like the City Mini) and I was told it has no adapter and won't fit anything other than a Britax seat...

I went to BBB and they said for the DOUBLE stroller nothing works except a britax carseat. I only see that the adapter works on the single stroller not the double....I checked the website too, unless I am missing something...

That's right. Nothing for the double but you were saying nothing but britax seats even for the agile single

yeah sorry you are right about the single I didn't realize- but I am concerned with the double and the inability to use w/snap n go or the uppa. I wouldn't get an adapter for the single- i'd just use it once the baby isn't in the infant seat w/the hopes that I can use some kind of frame and most of the time i'll need the double. Just trying to figure out what makes the most sense.

Britax vent and questions

Do you have the vista? Why can't you just use the adapter with your graco seat and add the second seat for your first dc? Or add the bar and your first dc can stand and get pushed?

You have a lot of strollers. Lol

Also, you may have better luck posting this on the parenting board

Thanks guess ill figure it out. I have the rumble seat for the uppa which I absolutely hated. That's why I ended up buying the britax side by side which I love. I could barely push the uppa as a double it was so heavy and difficult to maneuver and my older wouldn't sit in the rumble seat. It's not a full seat and all they can see is the back of the car seat which dd kept kicking. I do love it as a single though! The britax single I use as my lightweight.

Re: Britax vent and questions

If the Britax stroller is what you prefer to use just buy the britax infant car seat that you know will work with it.

I never used a snap and go so i dont know about it much but if you have a stroller you like using and can snap the baby into it what does it matter that its not the snap and go or the vista?

Thanks think ill just have to figure it out. Reason why it's not that simple is because the britax seat won't work with a snap and go or the uppa which both have very accessible baskets and the britax strollers don't and it's annoying to be limited to using only those strollers-especially if I only have the baby with me and need to run some errands. Just wish I did more research before I got the britax double. The city mini double is compatible with so much more I wouldn't have had this issue at all.
