Britax marathon seat installing in minivan
My car is in the shop right now so I'm renting a minivan. The car seat fit well in the sedan I have, but I'm surprised how awkward it is in the minivan.
Mind you the second row are captain chairs - so they recline. We installed the Britax in the captain chair behind the passenger seat. At first the car seat looked "too upright"... so I told DH maybe we should recline the captain chair. He did and the chair fit better, but it just looks so odd with the seat reclined. Like as if she could shoot out the back. DH felt that was impossible with the seat strapped snug to the chair, but I don't know... I'm not loving it.
Are we doing this wrong?

Which minivan do you have? The Marathon should fit fine without reclining the back of the seat.
