Brining infant to restaurant

Were brining out to a resturant (Chili's) this evening, He's 4 months and sits upright enough to be in the bumbo. Do you bring the whole carset in with you or do you bring something like a bumbo?

Dd has been coming out with us since 6 weeks. If she is sleeping I keep her in the car seat in the stroller (always ask for a bigger table, not a booth, and move one of the chairs away).

If she is up, starting at about 5 months we would put her in a high chair, either our own or the restaurants with our floppy seat cover.

i always brought the car seat and put it in the booth.
chilis does have the high chairs that sit in the booth too. im not sure if hes old enough to do that yet though.

We usually brought in the whole stroller (we would go at an off time like 4:00 when the restaurant was less crowded) until she was old enough for the restaurant high chair. But we never had a bumbo. Can he sit for the entire length of a dinner in the bumbo?

DS went out with us from very very early. He was in the infant carrier until he could sit up. We switched him to the convertible seat around 4 months. so once he could sit up he would sit in a high chair in the restaurant.

I would bring in the infant seat or stroller. I'm not sure where you could put the bumbo if you brought that in? In another month or two you can probably start sitting him in the restaurant high chair.

I either put the infant seat in the booth, or ask for a corner table and put the seat in the floor in the corner.

I Would use the car seat. No point In the bumbo or anything upright if they are not eating with you. They can flip over the high chair and seat can be placed In there or it can possibly fit in the booth

I used the car seat and the stroller if it wasn't a booth.

My DD hates the carseat so we either held her or now she is big enough to sit in a high chair with the cover.

I bring the car seat and the stroller it fits into. If he wants to come out, I just hold him on my lap. I never thought to bring the bumbo, but I think it's a good idea.

We brought the carseat at that age. Or the snap n go stroller and went at slow times and asked for a corner somewhere. Sometimes ppl flip a high hair over and the seat fits on but dh has seen seats fall off so I wouldn't do it unless you could strap it to the chair. Just use the booth. The seat should fit sideways.

Carseat….we started taking DD at 2-3 weeks old and she slept through meals or just hung in her carseat with a teether or toy. We did this for a lonnng time as she could not sit up in a highchair until 7-8 months.

I agree i dont think bumbo is good idea........keep baby in carseat if they cant do high chair yet. Where would you put bumbo anyway?
