Bright white subway tile
Does anyone know where to get a bright white subway tile? Im redoing kitchen with white cabinets. I went to tile store in Commack snd Cancos. Ironically, I had a piece left from doing bathrooms I got from cancos two years ago. When I went there and compared it to exact color there now, it’s got a gray tone. Even the person working there noticed. I just dont want it to look to off white when next to white cabinets.

Bright white subway tile
I have white kitchen cabinets and white-white subway tile. I got the subway tile at Home Depot. It looks great together, nothing is off white. However my one bathroom has white subway too (tile I didn’t buy) and it is off white.

I bought mine for the guest bath tub walls from Floor & Decor. Buy a few pieces from HD, Lowes and Floor & Decor then bring home to compare.
From what I recall, the F&D tile was the middle shade. I can't remember if the brightest was HD or Lowes.

Try floor & decor - they have everything. But when buying them, make sure they have enough tile FROM THE SAME LOT to cover the project you are doing with excess waste. Even white tile from different lots will have a diff shade of white.
Only way to know for sure it will all match is - go to the store, Pick up a few tiles, make sure there are enough boxes of that specific lot there, go home and put them in your space. Looks good? Go back to the store immediately and buy them! Believe me. I had a nightmare with diff shades of the same tile and wouldn't want anyone else to deal with that

Bright white subway tile
Look at the Jeffrey Court 'fresh white' line at Home Depot. I went through this as well looking for white-white. We liked this the best.

Thanks so much for these responses. I have the subway tile from my bathroom reno which matches exact to my cabinets. I will go around several stores and bring it with me. This is the piece from Cancos where their white now is darker than what I had

So I went to Floor and Décor and it matched a piece I had from my bath reno, which matches close to cabinets but when I got home, it looked more of a gray white. Went to Home Depot, it was more of a beige white. Lowes looked on the beige side. Went to Old country Tile, matched Floor and Decor's tile. I already had gone to the big tile place in Commack near Lowes. Very off white and their prices were ridiculous. I may have to just choose one. I thought it would be easy doing a simple white. Any other ideas where I could go?

That was the hell of my life for MONTHS! with trying to find the right gray tone.
The issue is when they go on the wall under the cabinets, the shadow of the cabinet changes the color. I wound up buying tile called pure wool , which was a Beige color out of desperation and when I put it on the wall, it was the perfect Grey I was looking for!
I’m thinking the shadow isn’t allowing the white to look white and not sure anything will look like that. You may have to change it up some or add a ton of lighting under the cabinets !
Try checking out Pinterest or houzz for peoples photos and descriptions. They may be able to guide you better.
I feel your pain.

We used Daltile Finesse Bright White for the kids' bathroom reno. We used beveled subway tile but it comes in regular subway also. We ordered from Home Depot online bc it wasn't available in stores.
