Breast Pump
How many of you put one down on your registry? I want to put one down but my sister says it's a little too personal....I should wait until the baby is born then buy one myself. My job also gives me a $100 credit towards the Medela Pump in style. I'm torn on whether I should put it down on my registry...it's $250 or just buy it myself after the baby is born.

Re: Breast Pump
I always found it weird to see it on registries, because unless I was super close to the person... I would just be creeped out buying it for them.
I mean you can put it down, and hope maybe your mom will buy it or something.

Re: Breast Pump
I put it on mine as I have seen it on other people's registry plenty of times. Even if no one chooses to get it for me, I can always get it myself and get 10% off

Re: Breast Pump
You can put it down and maybe someone may buy it but I found most people don't buy those type of things as a gift. If you do buy it after your shower there are cheaper places online to purchase it other than BRU or BBB.

Re: Breast Pump
I'll be registering soon and I thought about that. I'm going to leave it off and buy it myself. I'll use whatever gift monies I receive toward it.

Re: Breast Pump
I put it on... if someone wants to buy it, good for me! If not, Oh well, I'll get it on my own!! Its not "too personal" for everyone...its only "too personal" for those that think breastfeeding should be kept hush hush.

Re: Breast Pump
i have one so i didn't need to put it on, but most registries i have seen of friends who were going to breastfeed put it down, i dont think its a big deal, if i didn't want to buy it for them, i would just chose something else
