breast pain after stopping nursing
so i stopped nursing the day of the hurricane, and today my boobs are killing me!!! how long will they hurt and what can i do???

i actually got ice packs from target meant for this reason. But I guess anything will do. I took tylenol or motrin for the swelling and cold press for the pain. Took me 3 or 4 days for it to pass.
It hurt to even breathe on them!

Do you have a pump? If so, it can really helpful to pump for just a few minutes, just enough to relieve the engorgement. Also, try wearing a tight sports bra, with ice packs or cold cabbage leaves. That should help dry you up within a few days. Feel better!

Take Sudafed! When I was sick it dried up my milk a lot!
