Re: Breast MRI

I haven't had one. But I do know they tend to order them on younger women that may have a mass/nodule/cyst.

Younger women (under 35) have breast tissue that is too dense to get a good image on a mammo so they tend to order MRIs or a sonogram

Re: Breast MRI

I had one almost 3 years ago after the mammo & sonogram didn't show the mass that I (and the Dr's) felt.

What's up?

Re: Breast MRI

I had one. Doesn't hurt. It's bc we are too young to get a mammy.

I had a pain and felt a ball of something once. They tend to also do them on larger chested women.

Re: Breast MRI

I have had one - and will have one every year (I can't have one now as I am pregnant). What do you need to know you can FM if you want.

I do a yearly mammo, and then a sono every 6 months - last year I had an MRI for the first time and will have to do one yearly
