breast milk bottles - how many ounces?
so I am EBF and pumping for bottles. I have been giving DS 4 oz at a clip and it seems fine. here is my question- I read somewhere (who knows where?!) that as the baby gets older the breast milk changes to suit their nutritional needs and you don't have to increase the number of ounces as you do with formula. Is this true?
just trying to plan for a weekend we have a wedding and I am freezing breastmilk...wasn't sure when DS is older (he is 3 months now) if I should start storing larger increments

Re: breast milk bottles - how many ounces?
I've been pumping for 10 months now...and dd takes 7 oz bottles....she used to take 3 or 4 oz ones and over time she seemed like she wanted more so I gave it to her...

Re: breast milk bottles - how many ounces?
I think every baby is different. I BF my first DD for a year and she hardly ever drank more than 4oz at a time. We briefly increased it around 5mths and occasionally she would drink 5 maybe 5.5oz but then went back down to 4 when we introduced baby food. DD#2 is 3mths old now and I swear if there was a 40oz bottle she would drink it all
ETA: the irony is that so far DD#2 is my smaller baby.
