Braxton Hicks?
Has anyone experienced something that felt like a constant tight band around your stomach? Is this what Braxton Hicks feels like??

Braxton Hicks is not 'constant' but rather it lasts for 15 to maybe 30 seconds. Its a cramp where you can feel your uterus get really hard, and then it stops.
If you change what you're doing, it usually goes away. So if you're standing, sit down; if you're sitting, try taking a few steps.

It lasts about 1-2 minutes but it's constant throughout... it did go away once I got up and walked around a bit.

If it's BH, it should not last 1-2 minutes. Try drinking more water!
