Braxton Hicks?
When do Braxton Hicks typically start? Do they necessarily mean anything? Like baby is coming early? No, right?
I dont even know if what Im feeling is Braxton Hicks but I dont like it! It feels like periodic spasms or tightening in the lower portion of my uterus, sometimes along with what feels like a twitch (or kick!) to my bladder.
I havent noticed my belly feeling hard, which is why im not sure if this is Braxton Hicks or not....

Re: Braxton Hicks?
That sounds like braxton hicks, although I'm not sure what that twitch or kick is. Maybe it's the baby kicking. BH started around 20 weeks for my last pregnancy. Your belly will feel more firm later on in the pregnancy. By the end of the 3rd trimester my belly would feel hard like a rock during BH.

Re: Braxton Hicks?
For my 2nd DS, bh started at 22 weeks. I had him VA scheduled cs at 39w1d.
I don't think its any indication of possibly going early

Re: Braxton Hicks?
i'm a ftm and bh started really early for me like in late 1st tri because i wasn't drinking enough water. it sounds like you're having bh's. they're just your uterus practicing for labor see if they lessen if you drink more water
