Re: Braxton Hicks.....
I get braxton hicks, but not that many in an hour. Usually one like every 4 hours or so. I would just call, put your feet up and drink your water.

Re: Braxton Hicks.....
I would call - I get them, but that sounds like a lot in an hour. I am sure you are just fine, but just go be certain, make a call.

Re: Braxton Hicks.....
My doctor and midwife allow for 5-6 REAL (not BH) contractions in one hour before I should consider calling.
I've definitely had more than 4-5 BH in one hour but never more than 4 real contractions in one hour so far. So I personally wouldn't do anything (other than maybe drinking water and relaxing for a few) but call your mid-wife if you are concerned.

Re: Braxton Hicks.....
I've had lots of BH. According to both my dr and the hospital (I was sent there twice to be monitored) you're supposed to call if you have more than 4 in an hour OR if they don't go away (after an hour or two) OR if they form any sort of pattern, like every 10 minutes. Also, do they stop if you sit and lay down? That's a good sign. All this being said...There are tons of times I have more than 4 in an hour and don't call because I get them ALL the time and assume all is fine. But if you don't usually get them or get them so often, then I would call just to be sure. I'm sure it's nothing - especially if there's no pain. (Yes, they're uncomfortable though!)

Re: Braxton Hicks.....
I get that many too. Typically I get more if I just ate a meal, or if I just sat or laid down. I also have been monitored twice to see if they were real contractions, but they weren't. I also thought I had a bladder infection, but I didn't. They seem to improve if I drink a ton of water and gatorade. Feel better!
