brain development vitamins?
is anyone taking any vitamins in addition to the prenatal ones. I"m 21 weeks. Can anyone recommend any that are doctor approved? thank you

I'm taking omega-3. You can also take DHA, both are good for brain & eyes

My prenatals (I take PrimaCare AM and PM) have all the vitamins and some more than the baby needs. I know they include the Omega 3 fish oil acids as well as fiber and all that other good stuff.

thanks do you know if i can get DHA otc or do i need a prescription? i was given a sample of Enfamil DHA and used it a while ago.
my prenatals are Prenate Elite

You can get DHA OTC at a drugstore. I can't quite remember the name, but it comes in a yellow box and the company that makes Enfamil sells it.

I take cod liver oil pills. My parents' crazy nutritionist friend convinced me it is the best thing I can take for the baby's brain development.
