Re: bra - plus size/large cup size
I feel like Bras are something you need to try on to decide about. I am a 34 D which is kind of hard to find. I need to have soft cupping and I like Madienform for that. But, I hate VS bras. There is a store in Hicksville that will give you a really good fitting and excellent bras but, the straps are thick. She doesn't sell anything with a thin strap. But, I guess that's because a thicker strap is more supportive.
It's called Georgettes. It's on 107.

Re: bra - plus size/large cup size
I have a large cup size, I tried Lane Bryant and it was a waste of time for me. The salesgirl did not know how to fit me, and she was very insulting. ( I was so annoyed at the way I was treated I called the main headquaters and put in a complaint, and also w/ the sales manager for the region I put in a complaint) . I was so annoyed ! I walked myself out of the store and went to Georgettes and got a great fit there.

Re: bra - plus size/large cup size
i used to wear VS bras when i was younger because i wanted the whole "frilly, girly" bra experience. However, i wear a 40D and they need support or my back feels it at the end of the day. One day I hear about Lane Bryant Balconette Bras, i tried one on and I never went back. Seriously amazing, they keep the girls nice and perky and the support is wonderful!

I hate Lane Bryant bras. The wires ALWAYS pop out on me - sometimes it takes 3 wears, sometimes 30, but I am done wasting my money on them!
I have been wearing Elomi bras for the last 6 months or so and are happy. You can get them online via Bare Necessities.

Wacoal - pricey but worth it. I mostly wear the Embrace lace.

I'm glad to hear this, because I thought it was just me. Either I was wearing the wrong size, wrong way, or washing them wrong. I guess it's a problem.

Re: bra - plus size/large cup size
I am a big fan of the Lane Bryant Balconette Bras. I've been wearing them for about 3 years. Yes, I've had underwires snap or pop out, but not until I've had them for about a year or so and so I don't think that's all that bad!

Vanity fair from Macy's. Love them, the straps are nice and wide which offers support and they offer a little push up.
