Boycott Beyonce and Jay Z
Us pregnant women and our families should boycott Jay Z and Beyonce's music, concerts and so on. Who do they think they are? What would your husbands do if some bodyguard police officer wanna be told your husband he couldn't see his newborn baby?

I don't typically listen to their music anyhow, so this is irrelevant, but if the story is true, I would be more annoyed at the hospital for letting it happen. The hospital staff are the ones who are responsible for how it is run, not Beyonce and Jay Z.

agreed 100%! Im not gonna boycott 2great musicians that im sure had no direct decision making in that instance. Their security was doing their job. And honestly, we are such big jayz and beyonce fans that if that happened to us dh would call me at the hospital and say "dudeeee beyonce and jayz are here too" lol.

I agree! I feel the hospital is at fault for letting them call all the shots! The hospital should have made sure that all other delivering Moms and Families there maintained their rights!

So glad I am not the only one who thinks they are a joke! Every baby is special. If they felt this way they should have went to some type of birthing center. That poor father should have called the police or video taped the situation! It makes me crazy!

When I saw that dad on the news talking about how he couldn't see his twins in the NICU, that was upsetting. If that happened to me I'd be furious. The hospital never should have allowed that. That being said, I'm not boycotting but only because I don't listen to their music anyway

ehhh....
I think it's naive to assume that nothing is going to change when a celebrity is in the hospital. They always shut down wings & send in security. Lots of hospitals have VIP floors.
You'd be surprised how people will try to snap a photo of a celeb... and imagine if they knew that they could sell it for major $$$. Some crowd control was probably necessary.... and I can't speak to how much there was, because I wasn't there... but I'm sure the dad did see his babies (be it not maybe at the moment he wanted to).

SERIOUSLY!! They suck at life! They should be ashamed of themselves. I hate how just because they have money everyone else's joy and happiness takes a backseat. SO WRONG! I would have refused to deliver there. If I had no choice I would have gladly punched them both in their faces.

This is exactly how I feel.
The hospital is saying that those reports are not true. I don't think they would fess up if it were to be true BUT I am sure there is exageration going on as well.

I find it hard to believe that this man's twins and Blue Ivy were the only babies in the hospital at this time. If this were true there would be a lot more irate parents!

Before you boycott get the whole story....they didn't rent out an entire floor they rented the Executive Suite where not only celebrities give birth but politicians, doctors etc. That couple was able to see their babies and if you go to North Shore website (since they are a part of LIJ healthsystem) you can read the statement.

I agree. Also, not that celebs have such a rough life, but think about their point of view... would you want people you dont know all over you. trying to gawk at you & your newborn, maybe even taking a pic of your new baby to exploit her & to sell for $$$$$ ?
The whole situation is messed up but what other choice did they have? it wouldve been pure chaos had they not taken substantial security measures. it is unfortunate that other "normal" people were affected too though

The HOSPITAL should have come up with a better system since I'm sure they knew for 9 months that she would have been delivering there. It is the hospitals fault. Bottom line.
Give these two a break already and let them enjoy their daughter.
