Bounce House or Kiddie Pool/Slide/Ball Pit - Which would you prefer?

I want to order some kind of backyard "entertainment" for the summer... But I am torn on what to get...

Would you prefer a bounce house or a large swimming pool / slide combo (that I have read online people also fill with balls to make a ball pit)...

I think I would prefer the pool because bounce houses freak me out a bit... DH's cousin got really hurt in one - had to have surgery on her foot, metal pins, etc because a kid fell on top of her in one. But then I feel like the bounce house might be more "exercise", lol...

I think the bounce house would be too hot in the middle of the summer.

My parents bought DS a bounce house. It is in our basement.

We are also planning to buy some backyard entertainment. I was thinking water tables and kiddie pools but that slide looks so fun!

How does the pool work. I am assuming you should empty and then have to fill it again everytime you use it. If thats the case i can see this being a really big pain and would probably go for the bounce house. I am way to lazy and have no desire to have to do that

Though the idea of using the pool has a ballpit sounds fun but i will still aslo think you may have to empty that out constantly again i am lazy

Actually the longer i think about it bounce house could probably be used more since if its not the best weather you probbaly cant always use the pool while the bounce you probably could.

slide/pool looks cooler, but I feel like all the ballpits would drive me insane. I cannot imagine having to clean up balls all over my backyard everyday. Bad weather, kids throwing them all over, getting dirty, etc.
Water would be cool. Although depending on where you put it b/c it would kill the lawn

I like the idea of the bounce house because you can also get use of it in other seasons and not just summer.

We've already used the bounce house a few times this spring. We get more use out of it than a pool. Plus it's a heck of a lot easier to set up than the pool, which would require a lot of water, and then draining it and drying it before putting it away.

To cool off in the summer, we have an inflatable pool that we blow up on Saturday mornings, fill it up, and then take it down Sunday afternoon. It serves it's purpose for the couple of months out of the year we get to use it (weekends only, and not every weekend either).

We have a slide/pool and my kids can spend upwards of five hours playing on it.
