What bottles do you plan on using and why? I am confused by all the choices.

Re: bottles
I plan to use Avent. But I do hear very mixed reviews about them leaking, so we will see what happens.

Re: bottles
register for a bunch of different starter kits. you wont know which your baby likes until you try them so dont invest in too many before that.

Re: bottles
I registered for 2 or 3 different types. All of my friends seemed to like different ones, but it really depends on the baby.

Re: bottles
We registered for and received Dr. Brown's, Avent and Born Free. I have heard the best things about Dr. Brown's although I have heard they are a PITA to clean.

Re: bottles
We used Avent with #1...when #2 was about 9 months the whole BPA thing came out and I was able to return my Avent bottles for Born Free (now Avent is BPA free). I have to say the Avent and Born Free bottles are almost identical.

If you tighten them too much they can leak. If you tighten the cap just until the O-ring catches and makes it airtight - it is fine. otherwise when it's too tight, the sucking causes a vacuum to pull the nipple out a bit. You definitely get a feel for it.

Re: bottles
I registered for the Avent bottles and they were horrible. Constantly leaking. I went out and bought the Dr. Brown's bottles. They are GREAT! There are more pieces but the bottles are easy to put together. You definitely need a dishwasher if you purchase these bottles but I HIGHLY recommend them!!
