bottle warmers
Are you registering for one? I didn't, but am wondering if it will come in handy since my bedrooms are upstairs and it can help avoid trips up & down stairs at 3am, especially with two babies possibly crying at once!
Any thoughts or experience with them? I did some reading and know that one with auto shut-off is best.
Thanks.

Re: bottle warmers
I think it was Baby Bargains where I read bottle warmers and wipe warmers are fire hazards and they don't recommend them.
I am planning on EBF so I wouldn't have a use for bottle warmers.

I bought the First Steps Day/Night bottle warmer and LOVED it! It has a place in the back that you put an ice pack to keep the bottles cool. The front part you add water and it heats the bottles within a minute or less. We kept it in our bedroom and it was great. I would recommend it!

Re: bottle warmers
nope, never used a bottle warmer. I have one but never used it. DD #1 never took a bottle and DD#2 I just give her the bottle out of the fridge now that she is 2mths. otherwise warmed the bottles up by hot tap water. It's safer esp. with all the BPA stuff going around too.

We had this one also and loved it. It was a big help that we didn't have to go downstairs to get bottles in the middle of the night.

I registered for one and then returned it. I found all you needed was warm tap water.

Nope. I didn't register for one nor do I now ever feel like I need one. When I mix formula, I use bottled water at room temperature so no need to heat the bottles. The other times when I use frozen breastmilk, I defrost it in a pot of warm water.
