Re: Bottle Question..

I chose the Avent ones that use the drop ins because its the same brand as my breast pump.

Re: Bottle Question..

I just registered for two different kinds, Playtex drop ins and Avent. I'm also getting a couple free Avent dropins. I hear it's best to try a few and see which works best for you and your baby.

I think there are a bunch of brands that have the plastic things aka drop ins.

Re: Bottle Question..

It was a toss up between Doctor Brown and Avent ones, but I went with Avent based on Baby Bargains-we'll see what works. I think you may start with one and end up using another anyway because babies sometimes don't do well with a particular brand.

Re: Bottle Question..

I decided on the Dr. Brown's based on my SIL's recommendation. She seems to get less gas w/ them.

Re: Bottle Question..

Iam registering for 2 infant starter kits - Dr. Brown and Avent. They are the two I have heard the most positive feedback and I figure I will buy more of whatever works better (or try something else...)

ETA: I am hoping to BF for a while first, so I didn't plan on getting a ton of bottles in the beginning, until I figure all of that out.

Re: Bottle Question..

I have a few Avent bottles and a few playtex ventaires....I also have an additional package of each. I figure I will see which she likes better, then return the others and get more of the ones she likes...

Re: Bottle Question..

I'm hoping to primarily breastfeed, but will have to pump when I return to work.

I went with the Dr. Browns. I figured if the baby has issues we'll probably switch to them anyway, so might as well save a step!

Re: Bottle Question..

I went with Dr. Browns based on the reviews and several friends' recommendations. However, I may switch to glass bottles based on the possible problems with plastic. I would like to read up more about that.

Re: Bottle Question..

I registered for the Playtex Ventaires on the recommendation from a friend. I also got a few Dr Brown's bottles at my shower.
