Those who have been.....how long did you go & what can I expect for price?
My DH really wants to do this for our 10year..so I'm curious of what we are looking at in trip length & cost.
TIA!!

I'm the one that asked the original question and as reference - we're planning, 1 night in Tahiti, fly to Moorea, 3 nights in an OWB, then fly to Bora Bora 3 nights in another OWB - we're using the Intercontinental hotels on all three islands. With the half meal plan, breakfast and dinner, the cost was about $12k - based on this year's prices as the 2014 airfares are not yet published. I'm using Travel Scene (the TA that Air Tahiti has on their site) and Aspire Down Under to quote my itinerary

Re: Bora Bora Spinoff
Thank you for the reply. I sorta figure it was between 10-15K. We have 3 years, but want to decide if it's something we want to plan for.

Re: Bora Bora Spinoff
We paid $12k for our honeymoon 6 years ago. It was an insane amount of money but a once in a lifetime trip. We stayed 1 night in tahiti, the next morning we went to moorea & stayed there 4 nights, then went to bora bora & stayed there for 4 nights as well. I think you should go if you can. It's beautiful. You will not regret it.

Re: Bora Bora Spinoff
We were suppose to way back when for our honeymoon, but then we had wedding changes (went from a Mexico destination, to a NY wedding), while small, the money went to that.
No regrets, but we always said we would eventually get to Tahiti.
