Book of Mormon

Anyone see it? How was it?
Where can I find the best deals on tickets?

Saw it twice. First time I thought it was funny, second time not as much.

You can try to see if it is offered at the tkts booth

Re: Book of Mormon

Its HILARIOUS. You would think that given the content, it would attract a niche audience but it spans generations. My sides were hurting afterward from laughing so much...I was in tears from laughing at one point.

One of my favorite musicals ever. And I see a lot, because I work in theatre. However, because the show is in such demand, you won't be able to find discount tickets or find them at the TKTS booth. Your best bet is to buy them at regular price...even if you have to wait awhile to see it, its worth the wait.

Re: Book of Mormon

DH has the entire soundtrack on his iPhone and it's hilarious. We haven't seen it yet, but I bought him tickets for his birthday for a show in June. I found tickets were "*relatively* affordable for Saturday and Sunday matinee shows, or weekday evening shows. Friday and Saturday nights were crazy expensive.

It was amazing! But I don't recommend it to anyone that offends easily. If you appreciate south park humor then you'll appreciate the show.

This exactly!! Love it! Have the soundtrack and love that Josh Gad (Olaf from Frozen) was in the original cast. Chat Icon
I didn't see him, but the guy after was great too. I think the cast was awesome and I'd see it again in a heartbeat.

exactly.

we loved it, thought it was hilarious. But at our show, there were actually people that left during the show and there were lots of people not laughing. It could be offensive/harsh to some people

I'm excited to see it! DH gave me tix for my birthday. We love South Park and Tosh so this will be right up our alley.

We've looked for deals on tix for a long time but no luck. He paid full price but directly from the theatre, not from a third party. I know the less expensive seats probably sell out well in advance.
