In the wake of Monday's shootings at Virginia Tech, Fox has replaced tonight's scheduled episode of "Bones," reports zap2it.com.

Tonight's first-run episode, "Player Under Pressure," found the drama's main characters investigating human remains - identified as a star student-athlete - found under the bleachers at a college gym.

After 33 people were killed on Virginia Tech's campus in Blacksburg, Va., the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history, Fox moved quickly to pull the episode.

"Out of sensitivity to the victims and families touched by this senseless tragedy, we felt the change was appropriate," a Fox spokesman says.

It has yet to be determined when or if the "Player Under Pressure" episode will air. The "Aliens in a Spaceship" episode, which first aired in November, will show tonight at 8 in its place.

I'm so glad you posted this.

I thought I was going insane. I swore that there was a new episode this week, then the commercial was for the buried alive one.

It's funny, because I remember there was a Buffy episode about a school shooting that happened right after Columbine and they pulled that too.
