Bob's Discount Furniture

Has anyone every bought anything at Bob's Discount Furniture? Any reviews?

Went in and walked right out. The recliner we were looking at was made very poorly. When we inquired about other things there no one was able to show us color swathes, etc. This was just my experience there- someone else's might be better. We bought our furniture somewhere else.

We mistakenly bought our furniture there. After 4 couches, they finally agreed to give us our money back on our living room furniture. All 4 couches that were delivered to us were broken. However, we still have our bedroom furniture and i think it's all made very poorly.

We have a few pieces from them...

Our wood TV console is great - I love it.

Our living room tables are good so far - we've had them for about a year & they're holding up great.

Our leather couches, however...not so great. They are comfy & look good, but the quality compared to our Natuzzi leather sofa is poor. In fact, the leather looks like it's already starting to WEAR OFF in a few spots! My brother also had a Bob's leather sofa & is starting to see the same thing. I won't buy another sofa from them in the future... HTH!

We use our Bob's microfiber couches so much and have had them for a year with no complaints.

Our bedroom furniture is from there. We have had it for over a year now and we love it. We had absolutely no problems with Bob's.

i've been there to look but never saw anything i loved enough to buy. i have no idea what their quality is like. i prefer the styles sold at raymour and flanigan.

We just bought a new diningroom set and china cabinet from Bob's and my SD's bedroom furniture from there. It hasnt been delivered yet as we havent moved into the new home yet, but the sales person we worked with was overly helpful even though we told her we werent planning on buying for a while, after spending 2 hours with her we decided to buy it - the customer service part was fantastic ... hopefully the furniture holds up - we bought the extended warranty program that apparently for up to 5 years, if any of the furniture gets scratched, etc, they will replace it no questions asked..

I saw a dining set I really liked - at a good price - but it doesn't mean anything if it falls apart quickly.

Maybe I'll stay away from the couches and look for a good deal someplace else.

I'm headed for the big D and will need all new stuff.

DH and I bought our living room furniture and bedroom set from them. I love our couches (couch, love seat & rocker chair), 2 end tables and coffee table. They are very comfortable!

I really like my bedroom set, but we had a bit more trouble with it then i expected. there was some damage to one of the end tables. their customer service was very good, but they actually brought the wrong end table when they were going to exchange them. so it took 2 tries to get that right. I'm also a little disappointed at the depth of the drawers in my dresser, but i happened to find that with a lot of sets that we looked at. It might just be the way they are making things now. I was just used to deep drawers from my old bedroom set. but everything works well and looks nice. I'd probably go back for living room furniture (couches), but possibly not bedroom set again. You get what you pay for as they say

we have microfiber couch, chair and ottoman from them... I can definitely tell the quality is crap- but it looks decent and honestly, with a toddler, 2 dogs, and 2 cats I didn't wanna spend big bucks on something that was going to get trashed anyway (did that the first time around w/ nice couch from ABC Carpet & Home that had to be ditched).

the wood furniture, IMO, is crap- it's engineered, the drawer bottoms are flimsey, the hardware they use (hinges, drawer tracks, etc. are bare minimum chinese stuff).

when it comes to furniture, you definitely get what you pay for.

My mom has a TV console from them and the doors are lopsided and the whole piece is just sort of cheap looking.

We bought our couches, well couch and loveseat. They are leather and so far are holding up jsut fine. We've had it a year now and we're on them everyday and no wear and tear signs. They're super comfortable and look very nice. Overeall we were very pleased with them. Good luck!

We bought a coffee table, end tables and a TV console from them as well as our bedroom furniture. We are very happy with it. It's inexpensive and IMO, pretty descent qualtity considering the price.

They aren't the #1 furnitute retailer for nothing.

We bought our bedroom furniture from Bob's. Everything was good EXCEPT the defective bed they sold us. Then lied through their teeth and saith there was nothing wrong with the bed. There was a huge gap at the bottom, the mattress didn't fit in it right and the corners weren't 90 degrees. They refused a refund and said we could go back and pick a new bed but all the beds are like that. The gap was large enough for my child to fall through it.
My husband took over and harassed them until they gave us a refund. I got no where with them. I will never buy from them again. I like the rest of my bedroom furniture but it was not worth the hassle and lies.

We bought a dining set from them and bought the 5 year protection plan and we have no complaints - the process of buying it, the delivery, and the set itself (two years later) were all great. Although my husband wants to "accidentally" break the glass on the table before the 5 years are up since there are some minor scratches on it and he wants to have it replaced when we still can! The scratches were our fault though. For the price, we are very happy with our purchase.

We bought a TV console from there back in Nov. I love it. Iwas just what we wanted. there are a few minor scratches , but nothing major. The delivery was fast. I have no complaints!!

DH and I spent the day after our wedding furniture shopping. We went to Bobs after hitting up a few stores and learned that Bob's had nice stuff but the quality wasn't the best IMHO. I have friends that own furniture from Bobs and they have no issues. It's all about what you are looking for and what you like.

We got our bedroom furniture there- We have had it for almost 2 years and we love it..we have had no problems...Bob's was good to work with- everything was delivered when they said it would be and it was reasonably priced

we went looking to furnish our new house, but only liked the dining room sets--we bought one from them.

we did not like the couches or BR sets
