Boarding: How much $?
How much should I expect to pay to board my dogs when I go away?

Not sure where you go or want to go but in Hauppauge our Vet's office does boarding...
If you click on Boarding it will explain how they board the dog. What is nice about them is that they have an open play room where the dogs just run around all day -- no extra charge. The two Vet's dogs are always there for company so your pup will never be in the play room alone. As long as the dog is nice and gets along with other dogs they put them in there. They don't have to say in cages all day. The area they sleep in is so nice - no metal cages - all fiberglass and warm.
Also, click on the "Our New Ad" section and you'll see a coupon that you can print out for one free night of boarding.
HTH!

HTH! I checked out the web site and they have great accommodations for boarding cats as well! They look like a fantastic facility. If we ever have to go away for an extended period, I'll definitely be checking them out for our kitties -- they'd be able to share more than one cage and wouldn't need to be separated.

I love the no metal cages and the fact that the fiberglass has a warming mechanism! The room has a natural light skylight to keep them on a normal schedule. My favorite thing is the separate litter box compartment. Most places keep it right in the same area! Terrible! Dr. G says he lets them roam around too if they are comfortable.
