bluezoo at WDW

I made res for our first WDW dinner at Bluezoo since it's at the SD/where we are staying. Thought first dinner would be a nice one AND it's on DH's birthday so it would be celebratory. Nervous to travel too far after a flight. I noticed they have a kid's menu and we have 3- ages 2-5. But I just re-checked menu. Is this definitely somewhere I can bring the kids on a sat night (when we arrive) for a dinner (around 5:30- so early). If not, any other recs walking distance from SD? Thank you!

I have never been there....but next door is the Yacht/Beach Club, and there are a few restaurants in there. Cape May Cafe is a character meal (not sure if you want to do that). The food is good ( a lot of seafood though). The Yachtsman Steakhouse is there also, which is good.

I don't think Cape May is a character meal at dinner, only at breakfast. I do think it is a good buffet. I find Yachtsman to be a little stuffy, though the food is good.

I was just checking Bluezoo's menu and noticed that they offer 2 hours of free childcare at Camp Dolphin for every adult entree purchased...its only for kids aged 4-12, but it is definitely a nice perk!
