Blood in breast milk
I was pumping this morning and when I finished I noticed my nipple was bleeding. I looked down into the breast milk and it did have a little red tint to it. Should I dump it?

Blood in breast milk
No. I belong to a lot of pumping groups on fb and this happens all the time. Seems gross it it's perfectly safe. Just think of how many times your LO could have nursed and there was blood but you would have never known.

This exactly. Even when I had an overt mastitis/infection that needed surgical draining, I was told I could give DD my pumped milk.

Exactly this--my nips were cracked and bleeding for the first 8 weeks of DD's life. I'm sure she ingested blood many times this way.
