Blood draw yesterday...Dr. testing for Beta levels??

CountessCloak LIF Infant Member since 5/08 80 total posts Name:	Blood draw yesterday...Dr. testing for Beta levels?? Hi again... My Doc took blood yesterday and told me to come back tomorrow morning to see if the beta levels will rise. Has anyone else done this? What exactly does this mean? Thanks.

Thanks. i never had my beta levels drawn for confirmation, i just did a urine sample. Alot draw the blood to confirm pregnancy and also to tell how early you are int he pregnancy.

Posted by Chai77 Yes, they test your beta level and then recheck it in two days. The number should approximately double. Yes this is right. They do this to make sure the pregnancy is viable and progressing as it should, since it's most likely too early to see anything on an ultrasound.
