Blocking notifications from one person on Facebook?
Hi all - I don't know if this is possible but I'd love to block notifications from one specific person liking/commenting on my posts. It's my MIL, so I can't just block her from seeing my stuff, but she literally likes AND comments on every single photo, post, link, etc. And sometimes she goes see into Facebook history to comment on stuff that was posted years and years ago.
I don't care if she does it (though it's weird...) but I just want to stop getting push notifications on my phone about her activity without turning off notifications entirely.
Any suggestions?

I don't know the answer but I think we have the same MIL Mine does the same thing. I always know she's been looking at my pictures when I see I have a ridiculous amount of notifications.

Go to the person's facebook page, and click the "following" button on their cover photo. Then select unfollow. You will still remains friends, but you will not be notified of anything they do on FB unless they post to your wall/tag you in a status or photo, etc.

No, you'll still get notifications when they comment/like/share your stuff. The only way to NOT have this happen is to disable her from seeing those things or liking/commenting/sharing them. You're going to get the notifications no matter what since it's YOUR stuff. Or you can turn off push notifications entirely, but you won't get them no matter who is doing the liking/commenting.
