Blanket?
How old were your DC when you started giving them a blanket? DD is 15 months and I haven't given one to her yet. She moves around like crazy when she sleeps. Just wondering what the norm is?

Blanket?
I just gave one to DD at 24 months but I think I'm way behind. It's sort of pointless because she still moves all around the crib.

Re: Blanket?
Ds had had one since about 6 months, he is 15 months now, its his favorite blanket he can't sleep without... he usually just kicks it off of him though since he moves around in his sleep.

Blanket?
I've been giving dd blankets since it started getting cold this fall when she was about 12 months. She usually kicks it off and sometimes she snuggles with it. But she hasn't gotten tangled up and she moves a lot. I give her a small fleece baby blanket, just big enough to cover her.

Re: Blanket?
I put a blanket over DS last night for the first time because his room was just so cold. He usually moves all over, but he woke up still under the blanket this morning. He's 11 months old.

Blanket?
I started a couple of months ago when DS was 18 or 19 months. I thought he would kick it off and hate it because he used to, but I guess he likes it now since it's been so cold. Worth a shot to try it.

Re: Blanket?
They have crocheted mini blankets they mostly sleep on top of. They still use the sleep sacks. For naps, I give a knit blanket. They don't always keep it on though.

Dd1 before 1. She had a lovey and blanket. Never actually kept it on and it became more of a pillow
Dd2 is 9 months and been giving her a crotchets balnket for a few weeks now. She's also has a lovey.

Blanket?
DD is 20 months and uses sleep sacks. I can't imagine her actually keeping a blanket over her.

Blanket?
My twins are 3 and my singleton is 17 months. None of them have blankets. They have a super warm room and we just put them in heavy PJ's. I gave the twins blankets about 3 months ago and when i went in the room to check on them, my 3 Year Old DS had the blanket completely wrapped around his head. I should have known because he likes to fall asleep with his face covered by his glow worm or his arms. But i took the blanket away and haven't given it back since. His twin sister was fine with it but i can't give 1 without the other.

Re: Blanket?
DD is 18 months, and I'm not planning on giving her one until the spring/summer, when it is warmer out. She moves all over her crib throughout the night, and during the winter I want to make sure she stays covered in her sleep sack. She does use a blanket at my MIL's and at daycare for naps though, and I have given her a crocheted blanket at times.

Re: Blanket?
not yet and DD is 15 months. We give her warm, fleece footies that keep her warm. In the summer last year we gave her light footie jammies because we didn't want her getting a chill in the central AC.
