I got a set of them today from HD. Gave them the measurement for my windows (inside mount). I installed them, and they fit great. BUT, light still comes in on the sides of the shades. The width of the shade does not extend the full width of the window, because of the mounting hardware. What do I do? Is there another option? Do I give them a different measurement...say giving an extra 1/4" or so, and then hope I can push the little mounting pin in a bit to get the shade up?
