Blackberry ringer question
Is there any way I can get my phone to vibrate for ONLY phone calls and not emails (I get work and personal emails on my BB and it's been going off ALL day since yesterday).
I put it on "Phone only" but then I can only get it to actuall RING when I get a phone call, and we have a "no cell phone ringing in the office" policy.
Ugh! I even tried to lower the ringer volume, but can't seem to find if that's possible.
Someone please help!

Re: Blackberry ringer question
yes. I have the Storm, and I have calls, emails, text messages all set to do different things. I go into the Sounds application and then scroll to "set ring tones and alerts".

Re: Blackberry ringer question
You can go into Profiles (it's the speaker looking icon). Scroll down to advanced and click on it with the ball. Press the Blackberry button (dot looking button) and click edit.
You can do this for each and every option. This is also where you can create a new profile for work and have it do what you want.

AHhhhhh, ok I didn't think to press the menu button in the "advanced" menu. Ok, just tried this and I'm not sure how to make it vibrate only for phone unless I create a new profile - this is correct, yes?
THANK YOU! Also, what are "level 1 messages"?

Re: Blackberry ringer question
When you follow the above direction and click edit, it should bring up a list of things... scroll down to each one, click on it and set what you want. You can do this for Loud, normal, silent, vibrate, phone only.
I know it sounds impossible, but once you play around with it, it gets better!!!

I kept playing with it and I think I finally get it - you can set each type of "ringer/vibration" to only ring or vibrate for certain calls/messages. I created a new profile for when I'm at work too. THANK YOU! I feel silly with all my BB questions - I went from using a regular old cell phone to this so the little details are what I'm trying to figure out.
