black tv stand? update at end

ok so our living room is very warm and cozy. pale yellow walls, chocolate brown couches, gold lamps, a black wrought iron thingie on the wall and espresso coffee tables. floors are a darker wood, maybe deep gold/orangish. we just bought a huge *** flat screen and needed a stand and the only one i liked was a black finish. i thought another color in the gold family would be overkill. but now i am nervous that i bought the wrong thing. do you think i can get away with the black wood finish stand???

ETA that our coffee tables are espresso but also black wrought iron

I have similar colors in my living room and I recently bought a black tv stand. the plasma tv we bought is also black. pics are in my album.

how big is big? RH has a 81.5" console in an ebony finish.



LOVE this one. 55 3/4" but only avail in dark cherry.

thanks guys for your responses. DH put it together today and it actually looks really nice. DH says it looks good with the TV since it is black too. also, i think having some wrought iron in the room helps

oh, sorry... i completely misread your OP. thought you were asking for recs. didn't realize that you already bought. to answer the OQ, black will def blend.
