Black Friday... Not for me!
Anyone not shopping today?
I'm trying to get my family to agree to a less commercial Christmas this year. my Mom is going to adopt a family with the xmas $ - I'm pretty proud of her.
Anyone else "not buying it" this year?

right there with ya.....we are closing on a house and we are what i like to call PO not poor bc we cant even afford the OR to finish the word so i bought verrrrrrrrrrrry inexpensive small gifts for everyone (still have a couple left) and as for black friday, i was in retail, HATED IT! and i cant stand crowds when im shopping, i get all hot, sweaty and feel like im gonna faint, not my idea of GOOD TIMES...

I never go our on Black Friday. Too crowded and crazy for my taste.
I'll stay home, watch movies, cuddle on the couch with DH and eat leftovers.

I am working today and tomorrow morning, so no shopping for me. Also, my sisters and I are not exchanging gifts this year. One sister is pregnant and we're going to buy the baby stuff.

We thought about it for about 2 minutes. Then I realized that I would rather pay a little more for a gift than deal with the aggravation of looking for parking, sleeping outside and fighting over a gift that has probably been destroyed already.

But My husband got up a 2:00 this morning to try his hand at shopping on Black Friday. and he said He would never do that again.
he was off today i had to work

I wanted to go tanning and their answering machine says they are open today but I cant get through to anyone and I'd be sooooooo mad to drive there and they are closed.
I also broke my butter dish this mornng and want to get a new one but going now would just be nuts.
So I think all the stuff I was going to do today I am going to do tomorrow
