Black Friday - "Things To Do" Sales?

Does anyone know of any local attraction type/entertainment places that are offering black Friday sales? I know of Splish Splash (passing this year), and Lake Compounce. Any others?

Splish Splash usually has a Black Friday deal. We bought season passes 2 years in a row on BF. Also, bought our empire pass 2 years ago as well.

How is splish splash? The passes sound like a good deal, but we've never been there. Without any traffic, it would be an hour drive for us. In summer, my kids will be 4.5, 3, and 6 months.

That sounds like a lot of work, especially with a 6 month old. I wouldn't do it to be honest.

We are passing on the passes this year because this past Summer it was SO crowded. We went several times before the end of June, so it paid for itself, but when we went in the Summer, it was insanely crowded. We would get there at opening, and it would be mobbed, so we would stay a couple of hours and leave.

It's a mad house because the season pass sale attracts everyone!

I think they are $50 or something this year

Honestly, I don't think it's worth it for you. There isn't much to do there for kids that small that you can't do anywhere else..like one of the splash parks. The little kid area is nice there but, to me, it would not be worth an hour drive. When your kids are say over the age of 6 or 7, it would be totally worth it.

it is a pass for the state parks and beaches... like Jones Beach, Robert Moses etc. You pay a flat fee up front and it will totally pay for you if you go a lot over the summer.

Empire Passport
I would assume it would be here - though they are saying they won't have it until December. I am not sure about the sale. I am going to look out for it Friday!

there's a section towards the bottom to order online..

Is there something on their website that says this? We have been looking to go, but it's so expensive!

Those are tough ages for Splish Splash, I never even took my 3 yr old but 1 or 2 times when we had the passes. I would take the older two. We would always get there about 15 minutes before it opened to get a great parking spot, go in and wait by the gate and run to the big rides 1st. We could usually get 4 or 5 good rides in before lunch, then have an early lunch and go back in and do maybe 1 or 2 rides and the lazy river or wave pool and be gone by 2:30. If you have the season passes you can go several times and not feel like you have to stay the whole day to get your money's worth. We live about 45 minutes away, but my mom lived on the way so I would drop the little one off and continue on. I honestly would wait until your older ones are taller enough to do the bigger rides. Also, I am a SAHM and we only went during the week so I can't attest to the crowds on the weekend.

FYI, since you have a child with special needs you can get an Access pass for free (which is essentially the same thing).
