Bittersweet
So, my sister's infamous baby #4 was born yesterday morning. Since our Mom was away, I stepped in to help out with the 3 other kids, all weekend really, since Friday (long story). While I am so happy for her and her husband and I really do love all my nieces and nephews, my heart is just so broken right now. DH has been trying to get me talk about how I am feeling, but I just keep pushing him away and keep "busy" with whatever...housework, watching the kids, etc. I took off again today under the guise of being available to help out my BIL but really it was more to do with my inability to cope with the reality of the situation.
Sorry to be such a downer but this whole pregnancy has been a killer to me and now that the baby is here and we still have gotten nowhere on our journey to start a family, I am just so sad and feel so alone...

I totally understand why you are feeling this way....I think a lot of us do. At one end, u r so happy that they have a new baby but it's also frustrating when people are able to have so many kids and we're having trouble just having 1. I think it's good that u took the day off...sometimes u need to take some time to deal w/ your emotions about this. You definitely are not alone.

I, too, know how you feel.
Sometimes it helps me to know that I am utterly happy in my life and my marriage, despite this miserable road I have been placed on. I wouldn't trade the hyper-fertility of any of my friends for their husbands, marriages, families, problems, etc.
I'm sorry you are having a rough time. Talk to us. We DO understand!!!

Oh I know exactly how you feel. I have been avoiding my friends and family who have children. Its like being in a vacuum. Everything around me that is good is sucked away in my brain. I cannot enjoy anything.

Thanks again. It is nice to know that there are people who understand and can accept that every reaction DOES NOT HAVE TO BE ONE OF JOY!!!
I hate that I feel this way but I really can't help it right now...I'll admit I am totally jealous!
