Birthing Ball Rec
Can anyone recommend their birthing ball brand and where you got it from?
There seem to be so many different brands and Im not sure there is any difference really!

I use ACTUAL birthing balls in prenatal yoga....and purchased this one to use at home: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006U2Q60/ref=oh_o00_s03_i00_details
Significantly cheaper, SAME size and feel as the birthing ball used at the Yoga studio. I highly recommend it. It comes with a foot pump but hubby and I found it easier to inflate using our hands on the pump. I am 5'9 and this size is PERFECT for me...depending on your height, you may want to go a size down...I guess that would be in the 65 centimeter range?

I've never seen a birthing ball WORK (not saying it doesn't... just have never seen it).

You can pick an exercise ball up at any store such as target, kmart etc...There is really no difference. I am a labor and delivery nurse and teach lamaze classes and am a big advocate. I used them with all of my three births and encourage all of my patients as well. Makes a huge difference! Good luck! Wendi- babybreaths.
