birthday party time

Is 5:30pm on a Saturday too late for a 2 year old Birthday Party (at The Little Gym)?

Our choices are 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30.

1:30 seems to be prime nap time, so that's out, so it's between 3:30 and 5:30. Either time, I would provide food for kids and adults.

Re: birthday party time

Either 3:30 or 5:30 I think is fine. You're either providing an early dinner or a later dinner for kids.

My kids usually have dinner around 6ish, but weekends we are usually more flexible.

birthday party time

i assume it's 5:30 to 7? that would be perfect for my 2 year old. we usually eat dinner around 6-6:30 and bed time is 8. the 3:30 might be an odd time for us to eat, but if we knew ahead of time, we would make it work (early dinner).

I think 5:30 is a great time. DD naps around 1:30, as do most of her friends that age. I don't mind missing a nap for a party but I know some people don't like pushing naps.

Re: birthday party time

Thanks everyone, I was leaning towards 5:30, just wasn't sure if being at a 2 year old b-day party on a saturday early evening, is something parents/adults wanted to do. .

5:30 is too late, it would be too close to dinner/ bed time IMO 1:30 is best
