Birthday party invitation dilemma-WWYD?
My DS's bday is coming up and I booked a place for it. I'm not sure what to do as far as invites. He just started kindergarten - should I invite the entire class (17 other kids)? I could do just boys but he knows 3 of the girls pretty well since he did 2 yrs of preK with them and have attended parties back and forth.
It's still kind of early in the year that I don't even know any of the other kids or who he may be forming friendships with...
Additionally I have a decent handful of friends and family to invite. It's during the week so I know there are a few people I can count out due to distance or parents work schedules but I'm just not sure with the class.
Would it be weird to send to the entire class esp so early in the year. Prior to a month ago, he never met 13 of these kids. I'm really not sure what to do....

I would invite the whole class. Even though he hasn't really made friends with everyone yet, it's a good start to form a friendship. And you would be able to meet the other parents.
I don't know about your teacher's policy, but ours has always been, if the invites are being handed out in school you have to invite everyone. Of course there was no way for me to hand them out any other way since our schools don't give out other parent's phone numbers, etc. so we always invited everyone.

We invited the whole class. I think it's an ideal way of meeting the parents of new friends.
