Birthday Party Help!

We are planning a very small party for DD's second birthday. Immediate family and one friend so about 10 adults and two 2 year olds hopefully. Since we have some crazy stuff going we have to move it up a week to next saturdayChat Icon We always knew that was a possibility which is why we're keeping it small and simple.

We're doing pizza, cake, balloons. That's really all I've come up with. We've just started talking about her birthday coming and she's getting soooo excited about it. So now I feel like I should try to come up with a few things to help make it special for her. I have no idea and have very little time to get everything done. Sorry this is long, but I appreciate any suggestions. I need to get a move on!

Give her the princess treatment with her outfit hair etc (if she is into that)
Add some decorations staring her fav character, a party hat or crown, pile up all the presents and you are good to go.
At 2 it's all magic and special to them. Enjoy this special time and most importantly don't stress about it.

Re: Birthday Party Help!

She's 2 -
Everyone's undivided attention, pizza, cake and balloons is PERFECT.

My cousin's wife does this really cute thing where she lets the kids pick out their 'theme' each year - takes them to party city for the cups/plates decorations etc. They love it.

Thanks ladies! I think the initial panic has subsided a little. I ran out and got some supplies and decorations that I know she'll love (Doc McStuffins). I still have a bunch to do but I really can't spend all week preparing so I'll do what I can and hopefully it all gets done. Her actual birthday isn't until the 22nd so hopefully I can come up with some special ideas to use then.

Birthday Party Help!

I have done both of ds birthdays as pizza cake and family. I make it special by picking a theme and just buying the plates est and a few balloons and then make the cake the same.

First birthday was pirate and 2 nd was minion. He still talks about his minion bday and all it was was a cake and stuff from party city.

Don't go crazy cause they really don't know any better so the won't expect crazy things.
