Birth Control and Breastfeeding
What are your plans for birth control after the baby? I'd like to be on BC fairly quickly after the baby. I was thinking the mini pill but I heard of a lot of women getting preggo on it and I would absolutely NOT want to be pregnant at least 2 years post-baby. Has anyone considered an IUD or Mirena? Anyone hear of this affecting future fertility?

I am debating between an IUD like paraguard or mirena, or the nuva ring. I really hate hormonal birth control so I like the option of the paraguard but it kinda scares me still. I need to do more research. I might just go with the nuva ring & see how it goes. I plan to BF also so I really would like to do the paraguard. Otherwise I may chart & avoid fertile times, and use condoms the rest of the time. Then start the nuva ring once I stop BF.

A friend of mine has the IUD and highly recommends it. Not sure what method I'll be using for after I give birth but this is the option I will consider when I am done having my babies.
