Bikini Waxing Question...

I usually get a bikini or brazilion wax two times a yr.

Question is how long do you wait to stop shaving b4 going for a wax?
Also, what does your DH think?

We're going away in a few weeks so I figured I'd stop shaving so I can get a wax right b4 we go. One less thing to worry about on vaca.
I tell DH to warn him. I wonder what girls do when dating if they're waiting to wax?

Re: Bikini Waxing Question...

You need at least 3 weeks of hair growth.

Re: Bikini Waxing Question...

I get it done every 6 weeks or so, but my hair doesn't grow all that fast anymore because I have been doing it for like 15 years. I would say wait at least 3 weeks, or .25 inches of hair length.

I always wondered the same thing too, this is why I don't wax as often as I would like to. I usually give in half way through and shave Chat Icon

Re: Bikini Waxing Question...

I go once a month give or take. The grow back after waxing is not the same as after shaving (at least for me it isn't) so waiting a few weeks between waxes is not a big deal.

If I have to shave for some reason its two weeks of grow back before I can waxed again.

As you do it more the grow back is less and less and finer. Which also makes each visit less painful. So the inbetween is really not bad.
