Big Brothers, Big Sisters donation
How does this work? You just call and they come to your house and pick up? How do they give you a receipt if they dont know what you're donating till they come get it? Please explain. I have alot of stuff to donate cause we just went through all of our clothes, but I dont know how it works with them. Thanks!

You just call, they come. EASY! they do give you a form for tax purposes if you ask for it. Really, it's old clothes, so it's not like you can deduct tons from it anyway.

so when i call i have to mention the tax form or they just bring one regardless?

They leave the form in your mailbox and you fill it in. It is kind of like the honor system for you to complete it. They assume you are not a scumbag since you are donating to charity
