Bicycle suggestions - 1 year-old
Thinking that for his first birthday, we'll get DS some sort of a bike....the type that you can push/pull at first, but transitions to let him do some of the work when he's ready.
Any suggestions for this type of thing? Will check Baby Bargains, but was looking for some real-time thoughts.
Thanks!!

Re: Bicycle suggestions - 1 year-old
We have a kettler trike with the push bar for DH & I. I hadn't compared it to any other trike in stores but this one is nice & durable. It's a little hard to push but we don't use it that much right now to be honest. DS is 26 months, 35 inches tall & still cannot reach the pedals to pedal by himself so unless he lifts his legs off the ground, he is dragging his feet.

My son absolutely loved the Radio Flyer Scoot About at that age. it is not the kind you can push but they can do it all by themselves at around 1 or a little after.

kettler - they make trikes that have a platform that goes over the pedals for now, seatbelts, and pushbar. My DS loves it

Same. We got it for his first birthday and he'll use it this year (he's 26 months). Imo it was a waste last year.
