BFing during pregnancy
I am still BF'ing my 15 month old and love it... not sure when I'll want to stop, but do want to TTC again soon.
If you BF'd during pregnancy with your next child, how was it? What did your doc say about it? (safety for you, safety for fetus, etc)
Thx!

Re: BFing during pregnancy
This pregnancy I was still nursing my second ds he was 13 months. I stopped at 14 months but only because he started to throw tantrums and bite me bad so I just cut him off lol

Re: BFing during pregnancy
I was breastfeeding when I got pregnant. DD was in the process of weaning, by the time I found out I was pregnant she had totally stopped breastfeeding.

BFing during pregnancy
I'm 10 weeks pg and 15 mo old DD is still BF. It's not often though, only before her nap, before bed and when she wakes in the am. She might bf once in the night if she wakes up. All my OB said was make sure I take my prenatals and eat right.
I'm not sure how much longer I'll BF DD, I really would prefer her to self wean. I don't think I want to BF 2 at the same time though, that sounds like way too much!

Re: BFing during pregnancy
I got pregnant with dd when ds was still nursing. He ended up self weaning at 14m. I was 10w at the time. He just stopped asking for it and I stopped offering. When I found out I was pregnant my ob told me to wean but my MFS said I could keep nursing. The MFS made more sense. He said why undo all the good you have done nursing by suddenly cutting him off and that he would self wean when he was ready. And he did. I did have to make sure I ate really well. The new baby took from my body first. Then the nursing baby helped himself and I was left with whatever was leftover.
